We had such a fun day today! My sister-in-law is pregnant with their second child and today we hosted a gender reveal party for them. It was so exciting, not one single person at the party knew the gender until we cut the cake! (yes, I did not even know!).
My good friend Nicole made the amazing gender reveal cake. You might remember her from the fabulous Minnie Mouse Cake that she made for Makayla’s First Birthday.

I had so much fun creating all of the gender revel party printables! They are for sale in my Etsy Shop if you would like to purchase any of them!I purchased the pink & blue straws on eBay. I made the straw flags. They are for sale here as an instant download PDF file. The cupcake toppers were super easy to make. I printed the PDF files on white cardstock, and cut with a 2 inch circle punch and a 2 inch scalloped punch. The BOY & GIRL ones are available to purchase Here as an instant download. The “little miss” and “little man” ones are for sale here.I am also selling the “BOY or GIRL” matching banner, but have not had a chance to list it on Etsy yet. Contact me if you’re interested in that in the meantime.Same thing with the water bottle labels, contact me if you don’t see them listed.
Here are some more cake pictures. Nicole is so amazing! If you are looking for a gender reveal cake in San Diego be sure to contact her!Blue Gatorade and pink lemonade worked perfectly for the color theme! The first cut! I see PINKKKKKKKKKKKKKKIt’s another GIRL!!!!!!!!!!!Nicole made the most amazing interior of the cake. The cake was layered and was actually an ombre color scheme, ranging from darkest pink on the bottom to lightest pink on the top. She cut a hole in the center of all layers and lined it with fondant so the candies would not melt into the cake. She used pink M&Ms, pink jelly belly’s, pink skittles, and pink chocolates. What an amazing idea!
